In 1957 the Red Lion Lounge roared with live jazz music as one of Omaha's premier bass clubs. The Red Lion Lounge featured artist such as Duke Ellington and John Thielemans. The lounge closed it's doors in 1962 . The vision was to bring back the once classical lounge that hosted so many great artist of that era. The new Red Lion Lounge features classic cocktails that have become staples and Live jazz every Wednesday featuring The Red Lion Quartet.

The Red Lion Lounge is located at 3802 Farnam St. in the lower level of The Colonial Hotel Apartments.  Join us any day of the week to enjoy a classic cocktail and imagine the many memories the 100 year old space holds. If you stick around long enough the walls just might begin to tell the history. Cheers!
